Need counselling or an assessment?

TTIH can help locate appropriate counselling, psychotherapy, mental-health and assessment services. TTIH’s settlement-navigation program does not itself provide diagnoses or clinical assessments. Clinical services are provided by appropriately qualified professionals or organizations; availability, eligibility, fees and coverage depend on the provider or program.

New immigrants, permanent residents, refugees, refugee claimants, newcomer families, international newcomers, people who recently moved to Brantford, and people who need help locating newcomer or community resources.

External program eligibility is determined by that organization or program.

TTIH welcomes connections with organizations serving newcomers, immigrants, refugees and families. We’re building a referral network across settlement, housing, food security, employment, education, healthcare, mental health, counselling, assessment, refugee support, legal services, children and youth, language services and community development.

Thrive Together Inclusion Hub provides community-based settlement navigation, general information, resource guidance and referrals. TTIH is not a government agency, law firm, immigration consultancy, healthcare provider, housing provider or employment agency. We do not provide legal or immigration advice, determine eligibility for government programs, or guarantee access to housing, employment, funding, healthcare, counselling, assessments, immigration outcomes or other third-party services. Where specialized support is required, we help individuals identify appropriate organizations or qualified professionals.

Counselling, psychotherapy, psychological or other clinical assessments are provided by appropriately qualified professionals or organizations and are subject to the provider’s scope of practice, eligibility requirements, availability, fees and applicable funding or insurance coverage.

The TTIH website and settlement-support form are not monitored as emergency or crisis services. If you are in immediate danger or require urgent emergency assistance, call 911 or access an appropriate emergency service.
